The Board of Directors of the Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County invites you to its next monthly 2nd Friday Networking Breakfast Meeting being held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 7:30am.
This month's speaker is Dr. John Rosa is the founding member of a coalition of professionals working on prevention in the opioid epidemic.
We meet on the second Friday of every month at Lahinch Tavern and Grill in the Cabin John Shopping Center at Tuckerman Lane and Seven Locks Road. Parking is conveniently located outside the restaurant.
Registration is $25 for pre-registered CBN-MC members, $30 at the door and for non-members.
Dr. John Rosa is the founding member of a coalition of professionals working on prevention in the opioid epidemic. Dr. Rosa is a parishioner at St. Raphael, Board member of National Italian American Foundation, owns and supervises Accessible Beltway Clinics, which is comprised of 12 rehab centers surrounding the Washington, D.C. beltway in Maryland and Virginia, combining medicine, chiropractic and physical therapy to give a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to musculoskeletal disorders. Furthermore, Dr. Rosa has developed a specialty in trauma and sports medicine as team doctors for many sports organizations, treating amateur, college, professional and Olympic level athletes. Dr. Rosa is also a founding member of the “RecoveryDoc” team, which offers a new, all-encompassing perspective on sports training and injury recovery. Dr. Rosa has recently finished a 15 year term on the New York Chiropractic College board of trusties and was recently appointed to the board of trustees of Maryland University of Integrative Health. As an expert in his field, he has helped implement Integrative Medicine models to sports teams, hospitals, cancer centers and urgent care centers nationally. Along with consultation, private practice and several board positions, Dr. Rosa has served as the national director of fundraising and vice president for a non-profit organization helping children internationally with a home for children in the Naples region of Italy.
