More About Us
The Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County, CBN-MC, is an independent, non-profit organization of businesses and individual professionals working together to support Catholic education in Montgomery County Maryland. We welcome business professionals of all faiths to join us.
We apply the principles of our faith in the marketplace, promote valuable networking opportunities among CBN members, as well as provide additional support within Montgomery County for the education of our young men and women. Any profits generated through the association, including specific fund raising events during the year, go to support Montgomery County, Maryland Catholic schools through the CBN-MC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
From the beginning the members of CBN-MC have made Catholic Education the focus of their charitable work. Since inception, CBN-MC distributed more than $1,300,000 in development grants to Catholic schools, essay scholarships and need-based scholarships.
As a networking organization CBN-MC has successfully brought business men and women together creating an increased awareness within the community of what we do and what we CAN do for each other. Each monthly breakfast has networking before and after the program, and with an attendance of 60-90 there are always new people to meet. We also have quarterly evening receptions in addition to our annual Awards Gala in November.
